Keep your G FUEL White Tee looking fresh and fitting well with these simple wash and dry tips. Avoid common mistakes like shrinking and fading.
Quick answer
To keep your G FUEL White Tee looking its best, wash it inside out in cold water on a gentle cycle, then air dry flat. This prevents shrinking, fading, and fabric pilling.
Why care matters for a white tee
A white tee is a blank canvas for your style, but it also shows dirt and wear more easily. Proper care keeps the fabric bright and the fit consistent. The G FUEL White Tee is made especially for you after ordering, so it deserves a routine that protects its lightweight, breathable build.
Step-by-step care routine
- Turn the tee inside out: Before washing, turn the G FUEL White Tee inside out. This protects the printed design and outer fabric from friction. Common mistake: washing right-side out can cause the print to crack or peel over time.
- Wash in cold water on gentle cycle: Use cold water and a gentle cycle with mild detergent. Hot water can shrink the cotton and set stains. Avoid bleach, even on white fabric, as it weakens fibers. Checkpoint: if the tee has a stain, pre-treat it with a small amount of detergent before washing, not bleach.
- Air dry flat, never tumble dry: After washing, lay the tee flat on a clean towel or drying rack. Do not wring it out. Tumble drying can shrink the shirt and cause pilling. If you must use a dryer, select the lowest heat setting and remove it while still slightly damp. Common mistake: hanging a wet tee to dry can stretch the neckline and shoulders. Always lay it flat.
